The JAYS Standard:
From Seed to Skin
Our Commitment to Ethical Sourcing & Sustainable Practices
Ethical Wildcrafting
Our Copaiba resin and Pine Rosin are sourced from suppliers who prioritize forest health and sustainable harvesting practices. We partner with communities that have stewarded these botanical resources for generations, ensuring that our sourcing supports both environmental conservation and local economies.
Every drop of Copaiba in our formulations comes from trees tapped using traditional methods that preserve the health of the tree and allow for continuous resin production. Our Pine Rosin is harvested from managed forests where reforestation and biodiversity are core priorities.
The Zero-Filler Promise
At JAYS Naturals, we have a firm No Coconut Oil Policy. While coconut oil is inexpensive and ubiquitous in the skincare industry, it's not the optimal choice for clinical-grade formulations. It dilutes potency and can clog pores.
Instead, we've chosen Baobab Oil and Abyssinian Oil as our primary carriers. These nutrient-dense botanicals deliver essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants that actively support tissue repair and skin barrier function. Every ingredient in our formulas earns its place—we don't do fillers.
Locally Crafted
Every bottle of JAYS Naturals is handcrafted in small batches in West Los Angeles, California. This isn't just about location—it's about quality control. Small-batch production allows us to maintain rigorous clinical standards and ensure that every product that leaves our facility meets our exacting specifications.
By keeping production local, we reduce our carbon footprint, support our local economy, and maintain direct oversight of the entire formulation process. From ingredient verification to final bottling, every step happens under our watch.
